Apo 2.07beta. I'm surprising myself by liking this one well enough to render and upload it. When it comes to creating fractals, I always strive for (but don't always accomplish) symmetry and/or precision. I've done some navel gazing about this in the past and thought that it must be a need to inject order into an otherwise somewhat "beyond my control" life. And this fractal? Well, this is a flagrant mess, and that's probably why my inner critic is relaxing a bit and giving it a thumbs up for upload; it's like a little window into my mind as I work at bringing order to chaos.
I have a bunch more Lazy Susan style fractals similar to those that I uploaded the other day (i.e., more balanced than this one. ) I hope you guys don't get tired of looking at them.
I'm not tired of looking at these at all Susan!! This is excellent!! You really should have prints available for this one. It would look great in a black frame!!

Thanks, Larry - you really made my morning. I've looked into prints in the past, and unfortunately determined that I don't have enough RAM (nor the patience to find a work-around for the lack thereof) to render images large enough for print quality. I am flattered though. Thank you so much.
Thank you! And I thought it was the assymetry and general messiness that was making me twitch a bit. But noooo ... there's a caterpillar head in there too.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
