Daily DeviationI happened to be browsing the fractal category when I came across Alice's Asters by ~skellorg. This is a great old-school Apophysis spiral render with excellent structure and gorgeous colors that made my jaw hit the floor. This is one fractal piece in sore need of some recognition. I think `Platinus struck the right note ;)

Superb details and the colouring is so well done: just the right shades. I do so love this style of flame.

The first thing I thought of when I read the title was the book Angela's Ashes. Wonderful, solid piece!

Nice, full textures and patterns, not to mention a nice gradient used as well. ;)

Thank you. :) I haven't read Angela's Ashes, but this one does sort of reference another literary piece - Alice in Wonderland. Poor Alice; every time I make something that strikes me as weird or warped, she gets the blame. ;)
