I'm still debating whether I should reacquaint myself with Bryce or Terragen or if I should dig a little deeper with Apophysis, or possibly even play around with a different fractal program. In the meantime I have filled my "creative time" by prettifying my journal. It's not much to look at it - I've never been one for a lot of bells & whistles - but even with quite a bit of experience with CSS and excellent tutorials it was still a challenge. It looks fine to me in Firefox at 1024 x 768; I hope it doesn't look too funky in other browsers/resolutions. I may have some pixel-tweaking to do once I load it in IE. Scroll on down to the bottom for the credits.
I'm also way behind in my message center, so I hope you guys won't mind some fave-and-running and delayed replies to comments.

Just a few this time ('cos I'm still getting the hang of this feature thingy,) from some kind, generous and talented deviants.

- 35 Free Graphics Programs Image editing, painting programs and 3D applications, oh my.
- Pandora Free internet radio from the Music Genome Project. Type in the name of a song or artist you like and let Pandora do the rest.
- PsD Photoshop Disasters "Clumsy manipulation, senseless comping, lazy cloning and thoughtless retouching are our bread and butter."
- Icon Archive High quality desktop and web icon sets in dozens of categories including art, nature, holidays, and music.
- Institute of Official Cheer Home of the Gallery of Regrettable Food, The Grooviest Motel in Wisconsin, The Orphanage of Castoff Mascots and other absurdly amusing features.

Downloadables:
Not much here right now, but I hope to add to it in time, with another Apo gradient pack, and I'm still debating writing a tutorial for the Lazy Susan fractals I've been making recently.
What's on my:
- Desk: Healing and Society in Medieval England by Faye Marie Getz
- Bedside table: Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke
- Music player: In the Grip of Stronger Stuff - Ian Anderson
- DVD player: Tideland A Film by Terry Gilliam
